My ig has been going through a shed recently and I noticed a spot on her left rear leg (in the crease between her leg and tail) that seems to be shedding more. Almost like she's shedding multiple layers of skin there. I've looked underneath the skin that is coming off and it is not an open wound or sore - just smooth, but lighter, skin underneath. I've been watching it for a while and it hasn't gotten worse, but hasn't gotten better. It does not seem to bother her though. I haven't been handling her that much because we just got her in January and we're giving her time to adjust (although we're around her often). I'll try and get a pic sometime, although it will be hard. Does anyone have any suggestions? The humidity in her tank is high (although I do not have the exact numbers). The room she's in is kept between 75 and 80 and she has a basking spot and UVB bulb. I feed her collard greens daily with various squash, cucumbers and other high calcium greens. She's (?) not that big, probably around 8" not including tail. I just want to make sure she's ok. Thanks!
~Katie
