sage000 Mar 10, 2005 09:37 PM

my beardie has been laying alot of unfertile eggs, i was wondering would it be a good food item for my ackie?
or is this bad? I know moniters steal alot of lizard eggs to eat in the wild. so just wondering.

I got tired of digging thm up, incubating them, and finding some infertiles, every 3-4 weeks except about 1.5 months twice a year. The beardie pair is now gone and my ackies ate a bit over half of those eggs, there were alot. After hatching some clutches and the trouble to get rid of them in a market overflowing with them, I stopped hatching them, there were 194 eggs over the years time from one pair.
The ackies like them.
