I don't have a male with a female *permanently*, but I'm keeping a male with a female for a short while.. For breeding purposes only. He'll be removed after he's been living with her for a week total because males tend to stress females out(Especially when there's only one girl). The males usually pester the females to breed more then just once, so it's not really a good idea.. Without a cool down period(Probably even with one..), they could end up producing offspring year round-- Which seems pretty rough on the female in my opinion. This is just my opinion and someone else could of had different set of events, but I can't really see it any other way. Good luck.

I have had my leos in the same tank im almost positive the albino is a male and the normal is a female they are about 5 months old and they`ve been together since they were born and when they were younger she would snap at him once in a while during feeding but now they are fine so hopefully nothing happens

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as they're both old enough and healthy enough to breed. Breeding/egging takes a lot out of a female, so she should be upwards of 50 grams and without any health defects to breed. A healthy male and female will breed, but not usually year round. They have a normal cycle which usually starts around Jan-Mar and runs through Sep or so. It is possible that the male would 'stress out' the female, so if you notice them fighting excessively, just take her out for a while.

I've done this in the past and it worked out fine, but now I choose to keep my leos apart and only introduce for breeding. I have my pair of AFTs together and have/will keep crested gecko pairs/trios together year round.

No matter what you choose, it's just a good idea to keep an eye on your geckos, so you know what's normal and can identify when something out of the norm is going on.

Good luck

I had my male and female in the same tank but then she started picking on him and stressing him. She's still mean to him when I try to put them together but I just recently found out that she's an albino giant so that was my mistake. Then again I had no idea before she fattened up and shed a few times. Before she fattened up and everything they were perfectly happy together. He was very sweet to her. He let her have the house and he slept on top, sometimes I saw them sleeping together. They still want to be together off and on but its not going to happen. Sometimes when they're rasied together you can't seperate them. I found this out with my bearded dragons because my female goes crazy if my male isn't with her at all times. Let me know how it goes because I'm getting ready to get another female in a few months and I'm hoping I can put them both in my 30 gallon after I build my dragons a new tank.

The female is only about 5-6.5 months old so I have to wait until she gets a lil bigger. What I'm planning on doing is making a multi-level setup out of my 20 gallon long and decorate it real nice.

Like I said, year round probably isn't a good idea, but you never stated whether that was your intentions or not-- Also, The male can probably will mate with her at that young of an age, so maybe hold off till she is at least 12 months old. It's not safe for young girls to become gravid, so.. Play it safe and make sure you're prepared if she does happen to lay eggs. Take care.
