this afternoon. It was sad, choosing one, and letting her go, but I thought Hermes deserved a companion. I can visit them, too. Their new dad built them a nice big cage and I know he'll be good to them.

This is what I saw when I went to deliver Fawn to her new home. Glad I brought my camera! Know how a cat acts when it slips or falls? "Oh... I meant to do that...see how cool I am?" Poor Hermes, I think he wanted to impress her, but had a very ungraceful moment and slipped off the branch where he was basking. Then he just hung there, perfectly still for a few seconds until he fell off. He seemed to be saying, "yea, babe, this is fun, I do it all the time." I could almost hear Fawn snickering.
