would it be okay to put a little water area in my wtf tank with some guppies or something? or would the frogs eat them or drown or get sick from being around the fish? ed

First off if the water is deep enough for a guppy then its too deep for a WTF,they aren't very good swimmers.Secondly the fish could get eaten or pass a disease on to your frog, best to stick with plastic fish if you want to spruce up the water area.

but i read on frogland that wtfs need at least 12 inches of water to breed, so how do they not drown in that? ed

I'm dissapointed more people havn't replied here. If you have a well designed naturalistic vivarium for your frogs, a pond feature would be awesome. Consider having overhanging plants and wood features so that a fallen frog can climb out.

I'm unfamiliar with the details fo wtf breeding so can't help you there.
