Zoo Slop,

This food was being offered to the C. Cornutas at ZooDom, Dominican Republic. No where near as apetizing as the collard salads that we spoil ours with in the good old USA.

It is unfortunate, but necessary over there. They can't get the good stuff. EIther way, its working for them. I'm sure you saw how many cornuta they have. We're trying to get them to quit breeding them and focus more on Ricord's. ANd they have - babies for the last couple years. Cool pics, I dig the DR and Isla Cabritos (most) - so many iguanas (and crocs)!!

Yes, they have more rhinos than one can count. They are overcrowded in the back, and not in the best of shape. The Ricords are a different story, as of last November they had 10 hatchlings, 1 pair of adults, and 4 subadults. All were in good condition and in suitable enclosures.

John,or Jeff, do you know what it is? It looks like the Marion leafeater diet with something orange mixed in. just curious.

Hi Joel,
Its either that or the pretty pets stuff, or something similar. You gotta come see the lewisi soon - doing well.

I use Marion, and it did not look like marion to me. It actually had some form of ground-up vegetables in it -- reminded me of Zigglers, but I neglected to ask. During a second visit I did inquire about what they do for protein, and was shocked to hear that they feed them dog food twice a week. Hopefully it is well diluted with alot of other stuff.
