please help, bearded question

gax Mar 11, 2005 11:18 AM

i just brought my beardie home yesterday. he has not been eating.

he pooped on the way home and did not poop after that yesterday. I am offering collard green and roaming crix but he is not touching the crix and if hes eating the greens, its very unoticable. How long should it take for him to adjust to the tank and is it ok if he doesnt eat for a couple of days while adjusting? I saw another poop in the tank today but i havent seen him eat anything.

Hi

I just got my first beardie about 2 months ago, and he did the same thing - he didn't eat for a good week and a half. Freaked me out the whole time, then one day he just snapped out of it and hasn't looked back since. Just leave your little guy alone for a few days to let him adjust and hopefully things should work out alright.

Good luck!
