give me a quick run down on your tank.size, temp, humidity, substrate and the size of your frog. Some baby frogs have a hard time finding food in a planted tank and its recommended that you raise them in a basic 10 gallon tank with damp papertowels on the bottom,a few sticks to climb, some fake greenery (I use silk ivy from a dollar store) and a shallow water dish. This makes it easier for the baby to find and catch his food.
the tank is a a 5.5 gallon he is about a quaurter or half and inch long.the humidity is about 80-100% and the temp is about 75-85 degrees
also the bedding is repti carepet and i have a fake plant and a water bowl
Your set up sounds perfect except for the repti carpet, its too scratchy and is hard to clean.Plain damp white paper towels will be better especially since hes so little and they are easier to clean.
i used papewr towels but they would have a "curl"thing in them and the crickets would get under it and would die and he couldnt eat them
If you spray the towels with water they won't curl anymore.just don't make them soggy, only damp
Have you tried Fruit flies yet? Petco now sells um so id give that a go.
