I want to make a very realistic Desert/Steppe vivaria. While I know most people hate sand as a substrate, I have housed many many desert lizards including Leopard Geckoswithout any any problems at all. I would like to use a Rock as a water dish, like a natural depression, as well as many succulents. I will problally only have one maybe two geckos in there though. I plan on using a 15 0r 20 gallon. If anyone has any suggestions, any other lizard species I can include in my vivaria with my gecko, or anything except "No Sand" things. thanks
