Breeding Cyclura

SBM Mar 11, 2005 06:57 PM

Hello All,
I am an owner of multiple breeding pairs of hybrids. They were all purchased after breeding season so it will be my first experience. I have owned hybrids for over two years, yet never had breeders. A crash course would be helpful and any resources as well. I have 3 females that are proven breeders and I will be looking to have some offspring to sell later this year. Thanks.
Mark

..I don't breed hybrids, but from what I have observed they can be pretty aggressive towards one another, that being the case, lots of space is ideal. They will typically mate in the spring, and lay eggs in early summer. You will have better success if the animals can be kept outdoors.
Good Luck.
