Okay, you guys... Millie, who laid 4 eggs for us on June 17, is digging a new nest as I write this. Its about 7:30 pm Tues.7/8 here in Virginia.
I understand that more than one clutch is not unusual in one season , but is the interval of 21 days within normal parameters? At this rate she could produce 2 more before the weather starts to cool off in October!
Just wondering if anyone out there has had this happen with any of theirs.
She has not mated with any of the males here that I have observed, but I have a large enclosure (21'x36') and I don't watch them every moment of the day.
Just looking for some feedback.
Thanks!
Stephanie
