Can I safely house 2 balls together, temporarily?

JDalbo Mar 11, 2005 09:55 PM

My boaphile rack will arrive next week and I need to free up 1 of my aquariums until it arrives and was wondering if I could keep 2 BP's in the same cage for a couple days. They're between 500-800 grams. I have 2 females and 1 male. Does it matter if I pair up the 2 females, or should I pair the male a female? I've had them for over 6 months, and no signs of parasites or mites. Just curious if a second one in the cage would cause aggression? Thanks.

Yes you can.....provide a couple hide spots so they don't have to "fight" over the same hide and since this is a temporary arrangement....I wouldn't offer food just for the fact of now having a roommate and then later having to adjust to new living quarters......could be a lil stressful As far as pairing....you could go 0.2 or 1.1.....it doesn't matter either way.
