Ringnecks need a 5-10 gallon tank. Moist soil like substrate such as bed a beast. Water bowl, no heat needed. Eat worms, inverts, skinks, frogs, and salamanders. This is for the eastern species, so if you are out west, just use a drier substrate and keep temps warmer. Andy

Black headed snakes are centipede specialists and will eat small centipedes. Rarely will they take anything else, but you could try small crickets.

Ring-necked Snakes are snake and salamander eaters in the wild. They will usually eat small snakes and small salamanders (depending on where they came from - western ssp. prefer snakes).
