as far as coloring goes, does blue phase mean indonesion and vice versa? also what other colorvariations are there? are australians the common ones? can they be kept together or bred?

Are you talking about WTF? If so then you are corect about the coloration,Australian WTF are maybe a little more common because they were the first kind of WTF to be imported into America. They can be housed together and will breed.

yeah, i'm talking about wtfs. are there any other color morphs also, which morph is dominant if they breed. ed

I've never heard of any different morphs but the blue phase can be varied,I have seen very pale greeny blue all the way to bright aqua.I'm not sure if the blue is a dominate or recessive, thats a very good question though,I'll have to look into it.

Coloration in WTFs is a confusing topic to me still. Searching the internet or reading a WTF book will tell you that Indonesian WTFs tend to be darker and more green, while Austrailan WTFs tend to be brighter and a more bluish green.

I love the blue phase WTFs, I have an Austrailan that's close to but not quite a blue phase. I've tried to read up on the topic before, and some people said that the blue color is not breedable. I'm not sure if they think it's environmental variables when the baby is born then or what. Then again, there are WTF breeders I've seen in forums that sell blue phase WTF babies, which would mean they believe that color is genetic.

So if anyone has some concrete information about the subject, I'd sure like to know. And I'd like a blue phase WTF.
Here's a beautiful blue phase:
