Suriname pronunciation

Ok this may be a random question but how do you pronouce the word Surimane? Is it pronounced surinomee or surinom ? thanks.

sorry for the typo, I meant Suriname not Surimane in the post

is probably correct when you click on the little speaker image next to the word.
personally, i say it like it rhymes with "bomb"... but i'm probably wrong. i also hear it pronounced like it rhymes with "bam".
it's all personal preference i think. as long as your not pronouncing it "per-ew-vee-in"

thank you for the link. It is very valuable for me because it helps me solve problems in pronuciation.
Also, I am very astonished that the correct spelling is
"Suriname" and not "Surinam".

Mostly it is wrong spelled here or should I be mistaken.

i'm sure it has an e at the end in some places and i'm sure it doesn't in others, just depending on where you are and what map you're looking at. my guess would be that neither is incorrect, but I THINK that "Suriname" would be more commonly accepted.
