Hey all,
I know typically boas get darker while gravid. Both of my
poss gravid girls are darker now and I noticed something with
the albino...
besides the fact that her yellow has really intensified and
gotten darker (she was a light-yellow 'lemondrop' color before
now she looks more like canary yellow) her saddles and markings
are also much more defined and noticable! I love it! Before
you could see the 'shadow' of the saddles, when moved in the
light certain ways (light white markings) now her saddles are
defined and cream and white.
I know it's been said sometimes the boas will stay darkish
after giving birth, is this completely random and some stay dark
while some lighten back up, or in general do they always stay
darker? I'm actually hoping my girl stays dark yellow..

Hi April,
She should lighten back up a bit but she will always be a bit darker then she was, in the case of an albino it is a plus, making their looks more defined
