I’m designing a 60 gal terrarium for a Tokay I’m planning to buy. Part of my plan is to build a shallow pool in it that would cover about 35 percent of the bottom of the tank. Is this a good or bad idea? Any advice?

Sorry to reply late to this message, personally I would say not to bother as most Tokays wont drink from water bowls and they do not sit in it. The water would just be an extra thing to clean. You'd be much better off using the space to add a hide and just misting to keep the humidity up. Hope that has helped
