Spending too much time in humid box?

my gecko seems to be spending like most of her sleeping time in her hide box sleeping though and at night i dotn know what she does is this ok bc she just sheded liek not a week ago

and my vet said if you soak the geckos belly in luke warm water it will stimulate feeding and help her out a little is thsi true and have you done it

Her body needs a lot of rest right now, it's trying to get better. It's ok.

It would hydrate her and if she is dehydrated that can cause loss of appetite. Go ahead and try it, it will do her good, but some leos just freak out and will not soak, so if she's one of those, dont stress her over it too much.

how is her appitite, is she not eating at all. IF she is on calci-sand and she doesn eat for more than like 2 weeks or eats very little i would get an x-ray done because this is exactly how my leo who has a partial obstruction started acting when the problem came about. i dont want to scare you or anything but the sooner you catch a problem like that the better off you are. Really it doesnt have to be calci-sand either any substrate that is small enough to be eaten can be a problem.

I hope it isnt an obstruction but you might want to watch your leo.

I have a gecko that spends 80 - 90% of the day in the humid hide. He has since the day I got him. As far as I can tell, there are no problems with it...he just like it!
