A few quick qs one could I keep a male blood or a female in a cage measuring 3foot long by 1.5 feet deep and 2 feet tall(I would take it out a little more to keep it excercised and give lots of baths). DO they climb can't find answer. I know you are probably always asked this, but what do they eat as adults.
I know you are probably asked this all the time but can't find the answers.
thanks josh

I don't think that cage will work too well. An adult male black blood will probably be ok with the 3x1.5 surface area, but anything else will probably need more as an adult. Keep in mind that you will want to keep a baby in a smaller enclosure. Bloods are not climbers, they are completely terrestrial, so the 2 feet in height of your current cage is unnecessary. As adults they usually eat large rats or chicks - something appropriate to their girth.
I hope this helps.
