Good Dart frog...

FroggyToads Mar 12, 2005 06:39 PM

I am experienced with frogs. Now I am interested in getting a dart frog. I was wondering which one would be best for a beginner with Dart frogs. Also if you can give me a link to a good care sheet.

Thanks

I believe Leucs make the best beginner frog because:

1. They are cheap
2. They are very hardy
3. They have one of the most beautiful calls of all dart frogs.
4. They do well in groups unlike others that must be kept in pairs or 1.2
5. They utilize all of the tank unlike other beginner frogs
6. They are very hardy
7. They are not shy at all.

Consider buying a book on dart frog captive care as they carry more details then caresheets which are meant as an overview.
