I finally got my wife to move out...

JDouglas Jul 08, 2003 07:36 PM

I finally got my wife to move her junk out of my snake room. I have been pestering her for months now and it finally happened. She moved all of her junk to another room. Now my snakes have more privacy, and now I have twice as much room for more boas and pythons. I can't wait until the Daytona show!

clean room! I keep bugging my husband for a bigger house (so I can have more room for my babies), but nothing has happened yet.

Very clean and the cages look great next to the desk. What kind of cages are those ones that are stacked on the far right? They look like mine (Precision cages). Great looking snake room.
Take care,
Eric

My brother and I built the white cages using melamine counter top, glass tracks for doors, and 2 inch vents in the back. I kind of looked at other boa cages like boaphile, precision, vision, etc to get some ideas on dimensions and design. The cages in the pic are 2ft by 4ft by 1ft but we also have built some that are 36L by 16W by 12H for smaller boids. These cages hold heat and humidity better than plastic but are very heavy. I don't move my cages so weight isn't an issue and the glass lifts out of the track for easy cleaning inside and out.

That's absolutely beautiful! I love it...any chance you would be willing to share on your cage "plans".

I wish I had that talent to make one of those...My snakes would absoultely love it...and the room it would save.

Thanks for sharing the pix...

Maggie
