Viper Gecko or Helmet Gecko ?

Which species should I get?I was wondering if anyone knew any info on them.....also who here is keeping/breeding them? thanks

If I were you I would go with Helemeted geckos. they come in an assortmant of patterns, are hardy and prolific if kept right. Helmeteds are larger than the Vipers, thus the babies are larger and easier to get food too. Both are very interesting species.

I've kept vipergeckoes and am currently the proud owner of three pairs of helmets. The vipergeckoes I think are my favorites among the two, they are very calm and easy to care for, the helmets are very easy going as well but mine and most other I've heard of are very aggressive, if you try to pick them up they scream and try to bite. And they need uv-lighting which the vipergeckoes don't. Otherwise they eat the same kind of things, crickets mealworms and so on, want the same temps and other housing. If you want moe info try www.google.com and search on their scientific names, Teratolepis fasciata and Geckonia chazalie. Good luck
