15-20 MealWorms

Someone in a previous post said that eating 10 mealworms in one sitting was alot almost too much well my question is my Female Normal Leo has been eating like 15-20 mealworms every 2 3 days and shes been doin this for few months now is this normal?

they will eat as much as they want, 10 is not too much at all almost all of my adults at 13-18 every 3 days

When you said that, it sounded like everyday. Every 3 days is great. I just put a dish of mealies in my tank and let them eat when they want.

I know its a great thing to have a fat leo, but there is a such thing as TO fat.

I have read of to many mealies doing damage to geckos inside in past readings. That is why I said "Maby you leo died from the 15 mealies that it ate at once"(Im the other post)

You should even out feeding times, not all at once in a week. That will strain your leo's body to much.

Feed your leos as much as they will eat.... I have adult leos that eat up to 50 mealworms in less than a week..... Nothing wrong with their insides.... If your leo is having trouble digesting its food, it not because it is eating too much, its because there are other husbandry issues.....
