My dad found this lizard when he was golfing, he put it in a cup and brought it home.

Can anyone identify it and give me some info on it on how to take care of it and whatnot?

I already own a golden gecko and it's lived for 3 strong years and it's still in great health, I hope to do the same with this lizard.

Also...Can I hold it? I'm a little scared to stick my hand in there, I don't know what it will do.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention, I live in the Bay Area, California. It was found in a hilly area of Oakland. If that helps.
