Hypo Mojave breed to a Hypo Mojave???????????????????????

BallPython13 Mar 12, 2005 10:39 PM

I know when a mojave x mojave it can produce 25% Blue Eyed Leucistic 25% Normals And 50% Mojaves But what if a hypo
mojave x hypo mojave will there be any difference between a Blue Eyed Leucistic And A Hypo Blue Eyed Leucistic. And If a Hypo Blue Eyed Leucistic is breed to a Ghost (Hypo) will it produce all hypo mojaves.

Just my GUESS but I would think that you wouldn't be able to identify a hypo leucistic (i.e. the leucistic would cover or hide the hypo – leucistic should be epistatic over most everything except albino or caramel that would show in the eyes only). Maybe it would have a better chance of having bluer eyes or something subtle to let you know that it wasn't just a leucistic.

It should so I guess you could use breeding results to let you know if you have a hypo leucistic or not.

What if the animals that produced the Blue-Eyed Lucy was a PlatinumXMojave. Then what would happen. Would you get Hypo Platinums and Hypo Mojaves. There are too many pieces of the Lucy puzzle that have not been figured out yet to determine what would come from a Blue-Eyed lucy breeding. Hopefully we will find out more this year........I think that the "Platty Riddle" may be close to being solved than what alot of people think. Hopefully this year, we will see the first Blue-Eyed Lucy X Normal breeding and be one step closer.

I have my fingers crossed for you "Chubby"

Hypo Leucistic from (Hypo Platinum x Hypo Mojave) bred to a hypo female should produce Hypo Platinums And Hypo Mojaves. And
what about Platinum x Hypo Mojave should produce Blue Eyed Leucistic that are 100% het. for hypo, Mojaves 100% het. for hypo, Platinums 100% het. for hypo. Doe's only Ralph Davis Reptiles have the only one Wc Platinum male.
