my valley garter is over 30in will it get much bigger?? Its larger than most garter snakes i catch.

That is a good sized one, my female is about 28 inches. She is the largest I have found, however I had a friend in Idaho that had one around 3 ft long and had caught another one over 3 ft long, close to 4 ft! The average ones I found while living in Idaho were around 18" to 24".

yah i thought mine was pretty big but when i went out on a walk to day i saw about three more.then i saw a relly big one and i measured it.it was 3 feet exact.it was eating a huge bullfrog.pretty cool to watch.
