27 hours

ivan has been underground for like 27-28 hours now and i am a little concerned. this is her third time trying to lay. do you think maybe she is having problems? i can hear her in there digging and she made herself a hole for an airvent. i am concerned about the moisture level though. last year they always laid in reptisand and it held water well. this year it is a mix and the playsand does not hold water well. the top layer has already dried out and "avalanches" as she digs. am i just overly paranoid as always?

shes probably okay, but I would have to check real soon, as a buddy of mine, had his female stay in her tunnel, and left her be.

A few days later he finally did check, and found she had
died. She apparently was eggbound

Not trying to scare the bejeebers out of you, just don't let it go too long without checking.

Just make sure shes not weak or sick. She can always resume her laying, if you bother her a minute. LOL

well i just had the bejeebers scared out of me and it was not by you. i just woke up from my nap and was walking see how the munchkin was doing when i noticed there was no longer a top to her sand cave. i thought it had fallen in on her but she really dug a hole to the top. i can see her head and she looked at me but i cannot tell if she has actually laid anything. i wish the tank wasn't so heavy because it has a clear bottom ans then i could sneak a look
