Sosa, my Ball Python eats one baby rat or large mouse (both frozen) once a week. He used to strike at the mouse/rat with ferocity...however, for the last two weeks, he took the food with hardly any force...is it that he's not as hungry all the time?

Or...Maybe he's just not that hungry. There are only a very few ways that we, as pet owners, can actually tell if our animals are actually stressed out (by such things as, um, cohabitation with other species). One indication is fluctuation in feeding behavior...Another would be regurgitation. If one of your snakes decides to puke...I hope you rethink their living situation.

My Ball Python (Sosa) and Corn snake (Snakey) have been together for months...they have a nice 40 gallon tank and they constantly curl up together...if I pick one up, I have to pick the other one up too...sometimes cohabitation works well...contrary to popular belief.

Keeping snakes of different species together just isn't right they carry different bacterias that might be helpful to one and end up being harmful of the other. I don't know anything about corn snakes but do they have the same environmental requirements as a ball? I would think for the health of your animals you should separate them.
