Tough...

kingofspades Mar 13, 2005 05:48 PM

It's kinda tough being the little guy newbie. I see all these snakes I want, with $45,000 price tags, and I know it's going to be YEARS before I can get one...

Years of starting out with albino hets, selling offspring to get slightly more expensive snakes, waiting longer for those to breed, selling offspring...

again and again.

But it will be worth it that day I see a Pewter Pastel looking at me from an egg...
oh man...

As of now I have a '04 female on the way, and an unsexed (suspected male), both normals...

Next step, hets for albino...
or a pastel jungle.

I know that feeling, I get to start with hets too but I don't mind. I'm just happy to get eggs and see those babies hatch. I dont' even get that till next year!! LOL My only breedable female this year went out on a breeding loan but I'm taking it as a learning thing, I can learn from their experience working with them this year and next year when I breed to a pastel I'll be more prepared.
