How much does a necropsy cost, avg? n/p

I know it depends on the area, just curious and wanted a ballpark figure.

depending on what is done, lab tests etc, $60 is for a basic necropsy.

can run $200-$400 when you want everything assessed. But you can also limit it to suspected problems. Like only a liver section for only $40.

To only do a section, you or your vet needs to prep that section and then send it to a pathology lab, like northwest path or University of Kansas do these I know.
