Mutli-Level setup? Post pics here

vtec Mar 13, 2005 08:50 PM

Just wanted to get some ideas for a multi-level setup. I am using a 20 gallon long and was considering getting glass cut in a specific pattern to allocate areas for them to get up there. What do you guys use? I am big on aesthetics so I don't want to just put a piece of wood in there standing on top of rocks or anything like that. I am going with glass because I want the upper level to have a UTH pad under it on the same side as the lower level.

This may not be much on aesthetics but it is small on price. They are Sterilite plastic drawers. I like them because they stack, the drawers slide out for cleaning, they're opaque, they're light weight, and on sale they were 8 bucks each. I have them on top of a large boa tank so the ambient temps stay right around 80 to 82 degrees requiring no external heat. A heating option if you need one would be to run an external strip of flexwat heat tape behind a stack of them.
