Doe's anyone have pics of some big female ball pythons.

They don't come much bigger than this. CH and raised from a baby for six years. Will take jumbo rats and still want to eat your hand.

Wow that ball is huge and it takes jumbo rats. My male only eats small rats. And also what size of rat would my female ball eat she is 1,000gs and 44 inches long. Thanks For The Pic Scott Glover. doe's anyone else have some pics.

I think I read in another post that she was a WC and doesn't feed that well. If this is the case get her into a good feeding habit by feeding her small prey as often as possible. She will get more comfortable eating for you and then you can bump her up to rats that are just slightly thicker than she is in the largest part. A medium rat for a thousand gram female if you want her to get big. For now feed her small rats or rat pups as often as possible if she will eat them, if she only wants mice feed her one a day as long as she will take them and that will really pump up her feeding response. Just watch your hands when they go in the cage. Then try to switch to small rats or rat pups that have been rubbed against a large mouse really well. Also try raising the temps in her cage a little to get her out of any winter fast she may be on.

Her temp. in the cage is between 87-90 at the wrm end and about 80-84 at the cool end. Thanks Again Scott Glover

THis is my BIG BERTHA.............unfortunaetly she passed away 2 years ago, but had the opportunity to send her to VPI for official doccumentation and recording..and i believe she is now on display in a university in Texas.....

She was 6'2", weighed 9600 grams on an EMPTY stomach.......laid a clutch of 18 FERTILE eggs......she was a big one!!!

She is seven years old and over 3500 grams. You wouldn't think from this pic but she is over 5.5 feet.

You can get a female up to 2000g. in under two years if feeding heavy. After that it takes time. They sloww down and getting above 3000 takes a long time. I have heard of females over 5000g. but have never seen one. My girl is seven years old and I hope to break 4000g. by the end of this comming summer.
