Herping in Easten Pa. some tips?...

Hey guys, i plan on going herping within the next week or so (things are starting to warm up) i live near a pond, a long creek, some patches of thin and thick woods but no real great forests. I am out looking for snakes and i have my sights set on Eastern Worm Snakes especially as well as some others like earth snakes and ringneck snakes. Any tips would really be appreciated! Thanks so much!
