Is feeding a Guyana much different than a colombian? If so, how often etc...how much. She is on fuzzies/hoppers right now...

thanks in advance,
Hunter

yes, dont over feed or feed too big a food item as you might make the animal regurge .. if you dont have experience with the true redtails then it would be better to under feed than over feed. once your snake regurges and you dont know how to get em out of that , then its death 90% of the time for the snake . Feed the snake anything that isnt wider or thicker than the thickest part of your animal.. it might seem small but for them its a pretty good meal. these are not bci that can handle much larger meals. take it slow with em and you will have a great snake .. i love guyanas but i do know how delicate they can be . good luck , koky

True Redtails

I actually got her from a Colubrid breeder here in Columbia who had no idea what he had. He thought she was regular Colombian, i contacted the person he got her from and they said she was pure Guyana BCC. He has the rest of the litter....she was the star...but he's offering them to me.

What do yall think i should do?
