this is krystal, shes a long term wild caught, mock male. shes bigger then my male. but shes really cool, she loves to be held, and comes running to the glass every time any one walks into the room. i put her in with chubby after quarenteen. she fallows him every where, and i just recently put a nest box in(just incase she does lay eggs). im not really in it for breeding them, but i know there collony uros, so i figured id get chubby a friend. he has never seen more lively, or id like to say happy. heres some pics of crystal, and id like to kno if any of you have tips on breeding them, just so nothing happens by accedent, and i kno what to expect. and let me know what you think of her

thanx guys
nevin

Well you can always watch to see if your boy goes over and bites at her neck and then tries to mount her or head bobbing.

You could always talk to sunfox, her mali Ra has been at it for a couple weeks now I think.

BTW, she's very pretty (BTW=by the way)

There really shouldn't be any breeding behaviour (on the male's part anyway) if the uros haven't been brumated first. There's been no aggression between my male and female and certainly no unusual behaviour until recently. About 2 weeks ago, my male has been headbobbing a lot at the female. Last week, he's been headbobbing, biting her neck and mounting her. This week, he's trying to hang on to her back to get into the right position (he's still a little too short to reach that distance).
If you didn't brumate them, I doubt there will be little uros running around soon.

Here's what to watch out for (breeding behaviour)
