I've always had a problem with mealies being kept in a food dish. I guess my leos do not see them moving so they have no idea there is food in the dish. I always have to throw a few mealies in front of them or they prolly won't eat. What do you guys do?

Most of mine are trained to use the ceramic dishes I've provided them, but the best way(If they don't learn to use the dish), is to buy those glass ash trays or tea light candle holders. They're transparent, so you gecko will approach it and hopefully realize where the food is. Another way is to cut the bottom off of a transparent deli cup and try that out. Good luck, keep us posted!

For my part my gecko wont eat them if they dont move, so a dish is out of the question for me. I have to give him his mealies one by one. If they dont move much i have to pinch them a little for him to get them...spoiled little leo !
