Okay so I've read all about Burms and have some Burm experience from being involved in reptile rescue. But I've never kept a Burm long-term and I was hoping you guys could give me some idea from your personal experience just how fast these guys grow. I thought hearing from a bunch of people with first hand experience would be better than the average book-learning.

In your opinion, in optimal captive conditions, how big will the average Burm be at:

And how many years on average for them to reach full size?

Ok many factors come into play here(sex, FEEDING) but I guess I'll give it a try, I'll do a MALE as an example:

1 yr: 6-9 ft
2 yr: 9-12 ft
3 yr: 13 ft
4 yr: 14 ft
5 yr: 15 ft

Thats my estimate anyone else correct me if I'm off.

Just wondering what the motive is or what you are exactly looking for. To see if you can handle one. And do you want a male or female. Males stay smaller. You can get them to grow fast. Put it this way everytime you feed it, its going to grow. That bump does not just come out in poop it also makes the snake fatter and longer.
