Costa Rican imports

joeysgreen Mar 14, 2005 02:26 AM

Hey, I have a friend who imported some tadpoles from costa rica. They are now froglets and look closely related to red eyes judging from external anatomy. They lack the reds and blues however. Is there a book or website that is good for identifying central/south american treefrogs?

Also, what are some general guidelines for treefrog care? My current temps are 27C, 25C night, and 72% humidity. I've only had them 1 night so far and don't know if this is good for long term. They are currently on a plastic plant with peat moss substrate.

Thanks for any help you send my way
