I have just got home from my holiday and one of my females has unexpectedly layed eggs. They are, or were fertile but they look like they have been in the sand now for a couple of days. The shells have started to go a little hard and the eggs started to shrivel up a little but they arent going bad or anything. I have taken them out and they have gone straight in the incubator to see what will happen. Is there any hope?? All the temps and humidity levels are good.
Im not sure but i want to know if anyone else has had any luck with things like this. Am i wasting my time?

There is always hope... make sure the humidity is a bit higher for the first few days... may even try putting a *damp* not *wet* paper towel across the eggs... check for vessels and liquid by candeling the egg.. if the veins and what not are there you still have a decent chance. If the eggs are hard or go yellow/moldy obviously no good... you'll know in a few days.
