leo bites

Just wondering, i've been told that leos bite, also my friend's bites. will mine???

some leos bite, most don't. youngsters are more prone to biting, though i've never been bit, out of aggression, and ive had a lot of geckos. don't expect the gecko to bite, its rare, and if it does, almost any lizard can be tamed, just takes lots of work.

but it just felt like a pinch, I had a cricket between my fingers so thats why she niped at me. It didn't hurt or draw blood. If your leo ever bites you and you draw blood just clean it with some warm water and soap and put some neosporin on it.

sometimes they do but with gentle handleing and some tender loving care they should learn to trust you. I adopted a big rainwater male that loved to do nothing more than nip but he is gentle as a pussycat now.-Geeboo
