I don't have the space to keep these safely, so I take every opportunity to photograph them when I can. This series of Mamba Photos are specimen owned by G. Vanhorne of Reptile World Serpentarium.

"I’m scared of those nasty big-eyed grey aliens, too. I think it’s that I don’t understand their motivations. I am confident of my ability to out-think, out-con, or if need be, tire-iron-upside-the-head demonic forces, ghosts and goblins, things that go bump in the night, etc. It’s the notion of something that doesn’t have any desire to talk to me except via anal probe that freaks me out"

Thanks for sharing Al....stunning pics! I have been working with a Jameson's Mamba for a year now and I absolutely LOVE this animal; she's one of my favorites (inquisitive, intelligent, alert, fascinating to watch, and poses a nice challenge when it comes time to work with her). This particular animal has never shown any aggressiveness towards me but I never let my guard down. Thanks again Al.

Here is one that I took of one of my animals. I wish the face was a little more in focus, but I got some other decent photos in this series as well so I can't complain.

This animal is from one of the groups that MsTT rescued, and as you can see it is doing great.

Nice one too....It isn't easy photographing elapids....not live Viperids that lay there and look menacing...Elapids are a menace!..In a "loving way"...LOL

What species was that green/blue mamba?
