my male dumeril boa ate last night. but he ate the mouse tail end first. i heard of snakes doing this from time to time but i never experienced it. is this bad or can something be wrong.

he hasnt thrown it up yet and he's still acting like himself.

Your boa should be fine. I have had some do the same and they are fine...not to worry. Andy

a few of my "idiot" boas do that every once in a while doesnt mean it gets digested any differently or that its going to be bad for the snake, it just means its a little more difficult for them to get it past their mouths is all, gl with your snake,
