If a young Beardie is almost a solid color...

louiec Jul 08, 2003 09:26 PM

at a young age ...

is it more than likely that the color will just intensify as it getsolder?

or will it dull out and resemble normal beardies?

or is their no telling?

I saw a young beardie that was very yellow (mostly all yellow)... and I was just wondering if I should expect its color just to get more yellow with age??

thank you very much...

Lou

it really does depend, some will brighten with age, and some will dull with age, but your chances of having a high colored adult are better when you have a high colored baby, but then ya just never know probably if he has lots of yellow, almost solid yellow the color will get better with age, i have heard yellows more often then not intensify with age or they dont fade, oranges and reds tend to "fade" more often, but certianly there is no black and white here, ya just never know
here is one dragon, as a baby and at 7 months, would have never known
