and again 2 weeks laterthats how i do it to everything that comes in. wether i keep it or not . treat 1st , decide later after its in great health what to do with it.
cause from my experiences ive sold a few snakes a couple of times that ive seen after they have settled down that ive really regretted selling.. its amazing how different these guys look after they have been in captivity for awhile .. so 1st i make sure they are in great shape and at the same time gives em a chance to settle down and look their best before i decide if its a keeper for my very own collection. treating em as soon as i get em has been the way to go for me and out of atleast 130 snakes ive only lost about3 in the past few years. i believe its better this way cause you dont have to stress em longer by waiting for them 2 show signs of any ill problems they might have .so i keep the stress from the shipping up a couple of more days while i treat em and eliminate the need to stress em again a month or two later when i find out they have something. dont get me wrong there have been some that do get to be a pain to treat cause they just took long to do better . but they have come thru eventually .. i do agree it takes more work on my part but have been pretty succesfull. i just recently got a couple of large ones in for the 1st time . so ill see how difficult it is to get them going . thanks for the response lee.. i plan on callin ya soon and having that chat . just have been runnin around like mad and havent had time to sit and have a real good conversation .. thanks , koky
