More Borneos!

chaoscat Mar 15, 2005 11:57 AM

I've been waiting for this pair to get here for what seems like forever They're CB '02 VPI Borneos. Paid a pretty penny for them, but they are worth it. Now to get them switched to thawed

The male is around 13lbs and the female is around 15. Was hoping to breed them this year, but I think I'm going to wait another year to beef them up some more.

The male is really ancy, hard to photograph. He wouldn't sit still! He's very good natured though, only flung himself about the first time I pulled him out of his sack at the cargo office.

Male:

The female is not friendly, didn't try to bite, but she made PLENTY of threats! Lots of hissing, flinging her body about, peeing on everything, and wiggling her tail. She's easy to photograph when she's posturing.

Female:

Hey,
Nice pair for sure. I would just get those guys together and not wait a year, unnecessarily, they look great to me, and the female is actually at a pretty good weight from the looks of the photo. Feed them about a month or two and try pairing them up. You'll be surprised!

In life you can fall many times, but you're only a failure, if you don't try to get back up!

thanks for the advice! The female is pretty good sized. I'll feed them good and see how she is when it's breeding time.

Have any breeding hints for me? When is a good time to put them together?

Very nice, well at least the female is good looking, should make some nice babies when it comes to it though.
