Jungle Carpet Python Come Out In September?

Dan6971 Mar 15, 2005 01:12 PM

Hi All...

One of the kind people over at VPI told me that if I were to purchase a baby Jungle Carpet Python from 2005, it wouldn't be ready (born, shedded, etc.) until like September. Is that right?

I thought that Repticulus Reptiles' JCPs would be hatching in early May...?

Thanks,

That sounds about right. Look at it this way......hatch date is mid May. Then they will not shed for a couple of weeks possibly. Depending on the consistency of their feeding and overall willingness to survive it's possible for some of them to become available that late. Mid to late June to early August is when most of them will be available, but it all depends on when they hacth and how they eat afterwards.
