Fresh Air Habitat?????????????

elcheal Mar 15, 2005 03:08 PM

Could I keep one crested in a Small (18"L x 12"W x 20H) Fresh-Air Habitat? Has anyone had any experience with these cages? The thing that I found more appealing about these cages is the fact that there is a door rather than a zipper opening. Any and all information is welcome. Thanks
Here is a pic, hopefully it works-

I would recommend those cages. I have several that I keep my juvenile Cresteds and Gargoyles in. They have more vertical height than a 10g aquarium, with a similar sized footprint. I prefer the 22g reptariums for my older Cresteds though - more vertical space, and they seem to enjoy the darker shading provided by the mesh.

I actaully have 3 of these in use and one that is about to start it's duty. I am very satisfied with my purchases, as I keep growing numbers of both gargoyles and cresteds. They are easy to put together/break down and clean. I would however prefer these to reptariums, as crickets can't eat through aluminm screening, but they can eat through the material of the reptarium. Though admitedly, I would prefer a bit more height. I keep all my animals singlely, so space for individuals isn't an issue. I do have plans to purchase around for of their large models for breeding purposes though.
