Kerby i got A Question For Ya

ZFelicien Mar 15, 2005 09:02 PM

What happens when you Breed a B/W cali king to a Yellow/Brown Cali?

The thing is i have a trio of 1st generation albino jungle corns.
two (1.1) of them are from a "coastal" cali king X red albino corn. and the other 0.1 is from a desert phase X red albino corn (in both cases the male was the corn the female was the king)
their yellow color is totally different for obvious reasons, but i'd like to get an idea of what X'n them will do.

"Coastal Jungle" has lemon yellow

"Desert Jungle" has neon yellow

Some what of a comparison shot

Can you help me?

Every time that I have bred that combo (black & white x brown & yellow) I end up with cal kings that are more brown & yellow. IMO the yellow will overpower the white and will always be harder to get nice white cal kings when yellow is in their blood.

Of course, I am not familiar with hybrids.

hey Thanx... That info is good enough. i'm predicting a Colorful batch of Hatching like my "desert jungle" with lemon yellow like my "Coastal Jungle" intead of the neon yellow.

BTW: Thanx for not "bashing" me for keeping hybrids (even if you secretly wanted 2... lol)
