Yikes!!!!Is anyone out there anymore???

Hey, where did everyone go? This is Amanda...I still work at Flint Veterinary Clinic (over 4 years now)...used to attend meetings (scarcely) a couple of years ago or so. I bred beardies and leopard geckos many moons ago. Sigh. I miss it sometimes. Now I am chasing a toddler and have no time for such. No herps in the house anymore...my veiled chameleon finally passed on last year at 8 years of age, so that is it for me for a little while. I hope everyone is doing ok.

I rescued a common boa constrictor a week ago from horrible conditions. It was about 7 feet long and covered in mites and extremely thin. I hate to report that it passed away 2 days after the rescue. It had an awful case of pneumonia and just couldn't pull through. Anyway, if there is anyone out there in the area who can foster herps PLEASE let me know. People call all the time to the clinic looking for homes. Of course, it is typically iguanas (YES, STILL!!!) but hey, sometimes it isn't. I just can't keep large herps due to the fact I have small child

Anyway, if anyone in East Texas is out there just write back to tell me howdy!

Amanda,

We normally can be found at www.etxrhs.org or at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/easttxherp/ .
