Anybody have any tips on how I can find my escaped Apricot Pueblan in a basement full of fun stuff for him to hide in? He's only a juvenile, less than a year old and this is already his 2nd escape.

Hopefully you don't have a drain in the floor like the older basements (in case the water heater or washer sprung a leak).
Could try putting a heating pad (human style) on low on the floor and hope he comes under it for the heat. Put a small water dish and his favorite food item next to it, and hopefully he'll come for the food and water and then stick around for the heat.
Best of luck.

First time, shame on him. Second time, shame on you.
If your basement has no "exit" points, he should show up soon.
some think its cruel but it works well for me "glue traps"(like for pest rodents) and its easily taken off with vegetable oil, ive caught allot of escapees using them in the past, ive also been sucessfull w/a food item in a warm hidebox 99% of the time after eating if its warm and secure the snake will stay right there,,,,,good luck

When you find him use those metal clips for your tanks screen cover. They look nice and are esacpe proof.
To find a snake, think like a snake. Look for areas that you think would make a good hiding place for him and slowly and carefully take it apart. He will try to hide from you during all the commotion. When you are finished, walk out of the basement for about 10 minutes then hurry back in. The snake will leave that area and go for another if he thinks the coast is clear. It's worked for me a few times. Remember that snakes are designed to be the ultimate stealth predator. If they don't want to be found, they are very good at it. The longest mine was missing was like 2 weeks. He was dehydrated, but other than that, he was as obnoxious as ever.
He still hasn't shown himself. He can't get out of the basement so I am sure he will turn up. I have been searching at night with a single spotlight but that hasn't worked. I have also tried putting some bark peices along with plastic and paper bags in different spots but no sign or sound from him yet. I am going to try setting out some pinkies next to a hiding spot and see if he will smell them out and stay in the area.
